Our New Satellite Office
April is here and spring is in the air! We hold on to the hope that comes with flowers and trees budding and the green of spring grass. We look for changes coming when we can venture out into the world once again after a very difficult year. For most that will be an exciting time as we greet each other with smiles and hugs. For others, the idea of re-engaging in a sometimes-hard environment can make life challenging. For those that feel that unsettling fear, take things slowly. Venture out at a snail’s pace and lower your expectations on yourself to not be overwhelmed. Reach out for support as you move through this ever-changing environment and know that the Black Mountain Counseling Center is here to help.
Our new office! A secondary office location in Old Fort, NC
We are excited to announce that we are expanding our services into McDowell County. We have opened a satellite office at the Old Fort Presbyterian Church, located in the heart of Old Fort, across from the post office. We officially opened the office in late March and have already begun seeing clients at the new location! We are offering the same counseling services at both offices. If you are looking for counseling support contact our office at 828.669.9798 and let us know that you want to be seen either at our Black Mountain location or our Old Fort location.

A big thank you to our volunteers!
The place was in need of some “elbow grease” cleaning and we were blessed with a group of youth and adults from the Presbytery of Western North Carolina Youth Council in a day of volunteer service to prepare the office for our counselors and clients. This photo shows a few of our wonderful volunteers.
