Call in.

The best way for us to get the best help for you is to call us. Our number is 828.669.9798. By calling us, we’re able to talk with you directly and ask you questions to pair you with the best counselor for you. An office staff member will take down your information, such as the best way to contact you and what the presenting issues are.

If someone doesn’t answer, please leave a voicemail message. Someone will get back to you within 24 hours. In your voicemail, please tell us who’s calling, how we can get in touch with you, and what your presenting issues are. We operate with a small office staff and aren’t always available to answer the phone. This voicemail box is completely confidential.

Getting Assigned.

This is where BMCC takes over. Please let us know which office location is a better fit for you. We will review your case and assign a counselor to you based on your needs. Your counselor will call you no later than two days after being assigned to you.

Office Locations:

  • Same services offered at both locations

  • Currently not accepting walk-ins due to covid-19

Schedule and Show.

You will setup your first appointment with your counselor when they call you. They will walk with you through your first visit. If you have concerns about finances, talk to your counselor. They will work with you regardless of ability to pay. Your well-being is always first and foremost with them.

Your first visit.

Keep in mind…

  • Parents, family members, and friends cannot begin the intake process for a potential client who is 18 or older. We understand that you want to help. That support is critical in the healing process. However, office staff need to speak with the client directly for the required information.

Tip: Dial the phone for them, introduce the issues as you understand them, then hand the phone to the client so we can get that information.

  • You do NOT need a referral. Even if a referral is faxed from your healthcare provider, you will still need to make the initial call. We believe that client agency and commitment are vital to healing, so we do require that the potential client makes the first call.

  • Finances should never be a reason to miss an appointment. We see clients with or without insurance. If you are concerned about finances, let your counselor or the office staff know. We will work with you.
