ABOUT THE EVENT

“So.. Tell me. Where are you from?”... It’s the first question people in casual conversation ask, and the answer is always geographic. The real answer? Truth to tell, we are “from” a life-long litany of people, places, things, events, and ideas: a composite of faces and places, realities, and experiences we need to revisit if we want to figure out and put into words who we are and where we are from. Participants will travel through the corridors of memory, and prompted by specific writing exercises, begin, or continue, the craft of memoir.
